Join Angelina Mondavi of Charles Krug Winery as she walks you through the process of mixing different varietals to make a beautiful blend.

Angelina, a fourth generation Mondavi and Certified Sommelier, grew up in the vineyards surrounding the Charles Krug estate and played in our Redwood Cellar Tasting room. She began working at the winery at age 10, learning everything she knew from the family winemaking giants – her grandfather, father, and uncle. At age 40 and with 39 harvests under her belt, she has contributed to twelve 100 point score wines, over twenty 98-99 point scores, and twelve 95-97 point scores – all rated by Robert Parker!

Now you have the chance to learn about wine blending with Angelina.

In this two-hour session in our historic Redwood Cellar Reserve Barrel Room, you’ll learn the processes and nuances of what makes a blend work, and you’ll have the chance to make your very own blend. We’ll supply everything you need – just dress in comfortable and warm layers, ready to make wine with a Mondavi!

At the end of the session, you will take home an autographed bottle of our Family Reserve Generations wine – our Bordeaux blend that represents our (now) five generations of Mondavi family members.

This event is limited to just 30 tickets – Wine Club Members and their guests only.
