Our chef, Daryl Muromoto, also has a number of imported Italian cheeses available.

We open May 3rd when we fire up our Mugnaini wood-burning pizza oven outside our historic Redwood Cellar. Relax on our tree-lined lawn and enjoy one of our authentic Italian-style pizzas, made with herbs and vegetables from our estate garden and with selected meats from our Salumeria. Each pizza pairs perfectly with an array of Charles Krug wines. Open through October.

From antipasto to exceptionally fine pasta, everything was made by hand and perfectly prepared. With our Cucina di Rosa Salumeria and Outdoor Pizza Kitchen, we carry on Rosa's treasured tradition of sharing our family's love of food and wine with guests.

Daryl Muromoto

Chef Daryl Muromoto—who has worked for such renowned culinary destinations as Meadowood in Napa, the girl & the fig in Sonoma, and the former Postrio in San Francisco—brings his expertise to our Cucina di Rosa. Part-Sicilian, Daryl brings a love of Italian cooking and a passion for wine to Charles Krug. His menus honor the Mondavi family’s Italian heritage and incorporate ingredients from our estate garden. “For me, food is much more than mere sustenance or beautifully created art,” he says. “It’s a vehicle to create wonderful experiences and ultimately, lasting memories.”
