1861 Appellation
These appellation-specific wines deliver the essence of individual terroir (the inherent characteristics of the soil) from the different grape growing regions in the Napa Valley. Our new 1861 Appellation Portfolio debuts with our 2004 Carneros Chardonnay, our 2004 Carneros Pinot Noir and our 2004 St. Helena Zinfandel.

Family Reserve
Only specific vineyard blocks cared for in meticulous fashion produce exceptional fruit with the elegance and richness that merit the Family Reserve designation. The elegance and richness of these wines are the hallmark of the Family Reserve label.
Limited Release
Our Limited Release selection is produced in small lots of less than 100 cases each and harvested from our finest clonal selections of Cabernet Sauvignon and blending varietals. 2005 launched the first year of release of these wines from the 2002 vintage. Currently these wines are only available through our Tasting Room and in a few select dining establishments.
