Charles Krug Winery Donates $10,000 to Katrina Fund

St. Helena, CA - Charles Krug-Peter Mondavi Family Winery announced that they have donated the proceeds from their annual summer wine festival, Tastings on the Lawn, to the American Red Cross to aid those in need as a result of the devastation wrought by Hurricane Katrina. The Charles Krug Winery generated $10,000 from the event held on Sunday, September 18, 2005. With over 300 participants who enjoyed Caribbean music and wine pairings with a variety of culinary delights, the event was attended by a representative of the Red Cross who applauded the winery's support of the Katrina Relief Fund.

Together with additional support from their event caterer, All Season's Catering of Calistoga, the winery was pleased to assist the Red Cross in this most important endeavor of helping those affected by the storm.
