And the winner is Justin Humphreys of Monrovia, MD!

Charles Krug Winery takes great pride in announcing the final winning bid of $2,456. The auction ran from July 18th through August 31st.

The auction was solely for the benefit of The Music Connection program of the Napa Valley Education Foundation. The Music Connection strives to meet young musician’s passion for playing music and is offered in nine different programs serving nearly 3,000 students annually. The program began in 1997.

Affectionately referred to as “B.O.B.,” the guitar was created from wood at the “bottom of the barrel” of a 50+ year old redwood fermentation tank from the Redwood Cellar. Charles Krug Winery would like to give a big thanks to everyone involved in this auction.

David Heitzman of the Napa Guitar Company designed, crafted and generously donated this unique guitar.
